Discussion Schedule: Lord of the Rings Book Club 2023

Book Club Reading & Discussion Schedule:
Each voice chat will begin at 9pm Eastern on the evening of the dates mentioned below. They are all Sunday evenings. If anyone would like to host additional book club voice chats (especially if you are in a different time zone), please create a ticket using the-beacons-are-lit and you can coordinate with the mods to create an 'event' - the more discussion, the merrier!
The text channels for each book will open on the first day of that month and can be found in #lotr-2023 (in the discord). You should have read the corresponding book prior to jumping into the text chat to avoid spoilers, but you are welcome to join at your own pace. Remember, this is supposed to be fun so don't stress!

All discussions will take place in the Tea with Tolkien discord server, where we will spend the month discussing each book in the designated text channel and meet twice per month for a live voice discussion. Anyone is welcome to join the voice chats, even if only to listen in (there is also a text chat option within the voice channels).
Voice chats are not recorded but I will be taking notes and summarizing the discussions after the fact.
Dates and times for the live voice chats will be announced at a later date in the discord server, and are subject to change.
