Thanks for tuning into a special broadcast from Tea with Tolkien! This evening we are taking a stroll down memory lane as we look g back on season two of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power with our first ever TROPY awards.

The TROPY awards are a fan-made project created to highlight the outstanding work and dedication of the writers, cast, and especially crew of the series as well as bring the fan community together during the long way until season three.

We received over 200 submissions in the nominations round and then over 1,000 votes in the voting round, so I am quite excited to see which aspects of this season resonated the most with the fandom!

I have been graciously joined by some of the loveliest people in the Rings of Power fan community to present the awards to our category winners. With twenty categories to present, I’ll leave this introduction short and we’ll get right to it.

Thank you so much for joining us for this awards ceremony! I hope you had fun! And more than that, thank you for being a part of the TROP fan community. I have made so many wonderful friends and had such a fun time discussing, making memes, analyzing, enjoying all of your beautiful fan art and fan fiction, and I cannot wait to see what the next season will bring us.
