Silmarillion Chapters 6 & 7 (Silmarillion Study, Part 6)

This podcast and everything I do at Tea with Tolkien is meant to inspire and encourage you to read more Tolkien and become more of a Hobbit at Heart as I like to say. We’re currently in the middle of a twenty week book club in which we’re reading through The Silmarillion together!
The Silmarillion is usually considered Tolkien’s most difficult work, but it’s also his most important in my opinion, and my goal for this book club is to help anyone who might have been intimidated by The Silmarillion or kept getting distracted or lost along the way - kind of like the Teleri.
We are on the sixth week of our Silmarillion Book Club and things are getting pretty wild in Valinor if I do say so myself.
This week we finally learn what in the world a Silmaril is, or where the book’s name comes from.
